Y is for Yummy #atozchallenge

Read another ‘He and She’ story from a different perspective You, Me and Us .  Check out these dreamy travel tales with incredible poetry included from Sulekha

The cook was on vacation and Dia had taken to cooking the evening meals.  It was an unusually busy time for Sameer at work.  She had decided to make some masala pulao.  It is a one-dish wonder and less time in the kitchen.  She had no misconceptions on her culinary skills which were non-existent.

At dinner,  Sameer took a spoon of pulao and realised the salt a bit too generous.

‘Do we have any curd?’ he asked

She got it for him and ate her first spoon of pulao.

‘It is salty.  How are you eating it?’  she asked.

‘With Curd,’ replied Sameer.

**This has been written for the A to Z Challenge 2016. My theme is A to Z in the life of Dia and Sameer, a geek and non-geek couple.  Short stories on their approach to daily life.  Do you know people like them?  Do share the stories with me. ***

The characters Dia and Sameer are fully imaginary.  Any likeness to people is purely coincidental.   The views are the characters’ own and light-hearted.  They are not endorsements.

Sameer knew what to say 🙂 My husband is like him, very sweet.

  2. It was so good of Sameer not to throw a tantrum because of the extra salt! I’m sure that would give Dia the courage to try out more dishes as and when she gets the opportunity!

I wonder what tomorrow’s post will be! 🙂
